New South Wales Parliament
The New South Wales parliament is a bicameral parliament consisting of a Legislative Assembly and a Legislative Council. Members of the Legislative ASssembly are elected from single member districts for 4 year terms. They have the acronym 'MP' after their names. Members of the Legislative Council are elected at large from the state and serve 8 year terms. They have the acronym 'MLC' after their names.
2006 Commonwealth Games
Melborne will host the 2006 Commonwealth Games in March 15-26.
