December 11-12, 2005 Riot in Sydney

Rioting between white Australian youths and Middle Eastern Australian youths erupted on Sunday, December 11th and Monday 12th 2005 in Sydney around Cronulla beach and the surrounding suburbs. Coronulla beach is a popular local destination for working class youth rather than tourists.

Peacemaking efforts included meetings between a predominantly white Surfer Fraternity called the Bra Boys and a motorcycle gang called the Comancheros which has many ethnic Lebanese members.

Australians would like for those who don't like in Australia to tend to their own.
