Not to be confused with Joseph Wilson, Addison Graves (Joe) Wilson is the Republican "representing" the 2nd Congressional District of South Carolina District 2.
Wilson was born on July 31, 1947 in Charleston, S.C. He received his B.A. in 1969 from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va., 1969 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1972. His military service includes United States Army Reserves, 1972-1975 and the South Carolina Army National Guard.

Health Industry Lobbyist
Wilson has accepted large political contributions from those apposed to Universal Health Care or a government option for medical insurance[1]. During a speech by President Obama, he acted as a shill, yelling "You lie!"[2], for which he both apologized and was denounced.
