Talk:How To Run For Office
From dKosopedia
I'm creating a list of local offices that will be on the ballot in 2005 within Washington State.

Is this the sort of thing that could be done on dkosapedia? It might get more attention, and I might get more *help* if it's on a national site.

I am running for President in 2020. I am not accepting donations and I have not registered with the FEC because I intend to leverage the need for money with the all encompassing time. 14 years of grassroots messaging to attract attention to my platform. Bowne4change2020.
Wondering
Could we get the steps for running for office, more specifically?
How many signatures for which office?
Who does one contact in any given county?
Thank you.
Congress
Can the language be cleared up a bit like Senate and President?
It's good to use the words of the Constitution but either do the same for Senate and President, or change Congress to match.
Requirements of US Representatives
The current wording, "No person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the age of twenty five years, and been seven years a citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an inhabitant of that state in which he shall be chosen. ", seems to suggest that a person cannot be a citizen of the state they're elected for.
