Holding officials accountable for election integrity

From dKosopedia

One technique for holding officials accountable for election integrity is to write a pledge and request that they sign it. This technique was used on "Computer Ate My Vote Day" in July 2004, sponsored by VerifiedVoting.org, TrueMajority, MoveOn.org and Democracy for America.

Whereas the pledge for an election official would focus on the official's promise to ensure that votes are counted fairly, a candidate's pledge might state that the candidate will not concede until he or she has been convinced that the votes have been counted fairly. Kathy Dopp of USCountVotes has pursued this tactic.
