Hal Spake is a Democratic veteran from Oklahoma. He ran for Congress in the 4th District, but lost to the incumbent, see Oklahoma U.S. House election, 2006.

Hal served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era, then got a Political Science degree, and began a 22 year career with the United States Department of State.

He and his wife Luzviminda Martinez Rosales, have four children.
