G8
From dKosopedia
The Group of Eight (G-8) consists of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States (who make up the original G-7 which comprised the group at its formation in 1985) and Russia, offically added in 1998.
The G-8 is a "talk shop" which exists for the sole purpose of bringing some of the most powerful nations in the world together for an annual summit.
