It doesn't particularly matter since the article was deleted by somebody or other. But it was confusing to find that the whole thing had been archived away rather than finding an indication that the issue had been resolved. p0m 05:25, 17 July 2006 (PDT)

I'd like to suggest that things remain on the visible list for a certain amount of time before it is deleted, then archived perhaps once a month in weekly chunks. This gives people time to review the candidates and comment, and will save some work for the archivers. Chadlupkes 20:14, 18 July 2006 (PDT)
