Larry Grant

Larry Grant is a Democratic technology executive from Idaho. He ran for the open seat in Idaho's first congressional district, but lost to Bill Sali, see Idaho U.S. House election, 2006. Grant was endorsed by former Governor Cecil Andrus, and the widow of former Senator Frank Church. He was also endorsed by many of the state's Republicans, who cannot stomach his wing-nut challenger, see Republicans for Grant.

Grant is the former Vice President and General Counsel to Micron Technology, Inc., and is on the board of the Frank Church Institute. He was born in Boise, and attended the Fruitland public schools. He has been married to Pam Howe Grant, of Fruitland, for thirty-eight years. They have one son, Ron, and two grandsons. Grant graduated from Columbia University in 1968, and got a J.D. from the University of Denver in 1971.
