Incursion

From dKosopedia

Incursion was the euphemism used by the Nixon administration to describe its invasion of Cambodia.

In an extremely friendly January 29, 2007 interview with NPR's Juan Williams U.S. President George W. Bush denied having plans to invade Iran: "Yeah. I have no intent upon going into Iran." Although not part of the NPR written transcript, Bush can be clearly heard on the audio starting to use the word "incursion," which had been used by Williams, but caught himself and stopped at "incurs__."
