Rick Boucher

Rick Boucher (D) represents Virginia's Ninth Congressional District. He was first elected to Congress in 1982. Before that, he was a member of the Virginia state senate from 1974-1982.

Boucher is a native of Abingdon, Virginia, where he resides. He earned his bachelor's degree from Roanoke College and his law degree from the University of Virginia Law School. He has practiced law on Wall Street in New York and in Virginia.
