Usage

For any slogan used in 1984 that is used to spin negative events into a positive light:

War is peace. (eg. pre-emptive strikes make the US safer)

Ignorance is strength. (eg. all news sources are biased, so don't listen to anybody.)

Slavery is freedom. (eg. minorities (those most affected by policy) are first into battle.)
