Mike Pence

Mike Pence is a Republican congressman from Indiana's 6th district. He was first elected to Congress in 2000, after two unsuccessful runs in 1988 and 1990. He had a career as a conservative radio commentator.

Pence describes himself as "a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order."

Pence is a lawyer who received his JD degree from Indiana University School of Law in 1986. He and his wife Karen have three children.
