Michael DeWine (born January 5, 1947, Springfield, Ohio), is a former Republican Representative and Senator from Ohio. He was defeated for re-election to the Senate by Sherrod Brown, see Ohio U.S. Senate election, 2006.

  • elected to the United States Senate in 1994 and reelected in 2000. The first Republican U.S. Senator to represent the Ohio in more than two decades.
