Rep. Jerry Lewis, born in Seattle, Washington on October 21, 1934, is a longtime resident of San Bernardino County and 30-year owner of a life insurance business. Rep. Lewis, a Republican, has served the 41st Congressional District of California since 1978.

In May 2006, Federal prosecutors announced that they were investigating Lewis in connection with the Randy Cunningham bribery scandal. (TPM)
