The people of the United Methodist Church are for the most part nice people who try to follow Jesus; i.e. feed the hungry, turn the other cheek, etc.

Sadly, from time to time people join who don't follow any of its teachings i.e. George W. Bush.

In response to his epic failure to follow any of Christ's creeds, the UMC has rejected his desire to establish a Library/Think tank on Southern Methodist University's campus.

Unfortunately the land is not actually owned by the United Methodist Church, but by its southern jurisdiction.

As a result a campaign is being launched to encourage the southern jurisdiction to tell Bush that the Methodist Church doesn't want his library.
