Unification Church

AKA the Moonies. Although officially renamed to "Family Federation for World Peace and Unification" in 1996, the name "Unification Church" is better known to the general public. A Christianity-based cult of personality centered on the Reverend Sun Myung Moon, who proclaims himself to be the "Lord of the Second Advent." Moonies are best known for marrying one another en masse in huge public ceremonies.
