Timothy Murphy (born September 12, 1952, Cleveland, Ohio) currently serves in the U.S. House of Representatives for the 18th Congressional District of the state of Pennsylvania. A Republican, Murphy was first elected to the U.S. Congress in 2002. Prior to his Congressional tenure, Murphy served in the Pennsylvania State Senate.
