Whining Junior Senator

Collins is quoted as whining about her workload: "There are times when I look at the size of the briefing book and I groan because I know it's going to be a late night. The volume of work, particularly now that I'm chair of a major committee, is huge, and it requires constant work to keep up. There's generally no time in the day to do it." Source: n.a. Sweat the Small Stuff

"The body that should have been investigating the corruption in Iraq is the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs...Since 2003 that committee has conducted eight hearings on the postal service, two on Defense Department employees' improper use of airline tickets, and two on diploma mills. They have conducted none on corruption in Iraq." Source: Al Franken. 2005. The Truth (with jokes). Dutton. ISBN 0525949062. p. 262.
