Sue Myrick

Sue Myrick is a Republican Representative from the 9th district of North Carolina. She was first elected to Congress in 1994, after an unsuccessful campaign for U.S. Senate in 1992. She was the mayor of Charlotte, NC from 1987-1991.
Myrick survived breast cancer, and she co-chairs the House Cancer Caucus. She and her husband Ed have two children, three step-children, and many grandchildren.
