Sharon Renier

Sharon Renier is a Democratic organic farmer from Michigan. She ran for Congress in the 7th District, but lost to the incumbent, see Michigan U.S. House election, 2006. She ran for this same district in 2004, but she had a very limited budget.
She has always been a working mother, and she was the first person in her family to attend college, which she paid for herself.
