Rodney Freylinghuysen

Rodney Freylinghuysen (born April 29, 1946) is a Republican politician from New Jersey, representing New Jersey's 11th congressional district. He has been serving since January 3, 1995. He was a member of the New Jersey state general assembly from 1983-1994, and a Morris County Freeholder from 1974-1983.

Frelinghuysen was in the U.S. Army from 1969-1971. He and his wife, Virginia have two daughters. He was born on April 29, 1946, into a prominent political family: his father Peter Hood Ballantine Frelinghuysen, Jr. was a U.S. Rep. from 1953-1974.
