Robert Foster Bennett

Robert Foster Bennett (R) is a U.S. Senator from Utah. He was first elected to the Senate in 1992, to fill the open seat vacated by Jake Garn.

Bennett had a long career in public relations, where he worked for Howard Hughes, among others. He also has connections to Watergate burgler E. Howard Hunt.

He is the son of former U.S. Senator Wallace Foster Bennett. He and his wife Joyce have six children.
