Raj Peter Bhakta was a Republican Pennsylvania Congressional candidate and former reality TV star "fired" by Donald Trump on "The Apprentice." He lost his preposterous Congressional bid against incumbent Democratic freshman Representative Allyson Schwartz, see Pennsylvania U.S. House election, 2006.

Although not exactly a native, Bhaktra's election campaign theme was nativist.
