Peter Roskam represents the Sixth Congressional District of Illinois in the U.S. House, see Illinois U.S. House election, 2006.
He was born on 09/13/1961 in Hinsdale, IL and raised in Glen Ellyn. Roskam is a conservative Republican and he used to represent the 48th senatorial district in the Illinois State General Assembly.
During a debate with his Democratic opponent, Tammy Duckworth, Roskam accused her of wanting to "cut and run" from Iraq. It was an astonishing moment, since Ms. Duckworth lost her legs while serving in Iraq.
