Paul Broun, Jr.

Dr. Paul Broun, Jr. is the Republican representative from Georgia's 10th congressional district. He was first elected in a 2007 special election, which he won by less than 400 votes.
Broun is the founding president of the Georgia Republican Assembly, and he is a Life Member of the NRA. A former Marine, he graduated from the University of Georgia, and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
He and his wife Niki are members of the Prince Avenue Baptist Church in Athens, and they have three children and two grandchildren. He is the son of the late Paul Broun, who served in the Georgia General Assembly.
