Mir Hossein Mousavi

Mir Hossein Mousavi is an Iranian reformist politician, who has served as the fifth and last Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran from 1981 to 1989. Mousavi was defeated in the 2009 Iranian presidential election held on June 12, 2009. Official results show current President Ahmadinejad winning by a landslide, though Mousavi and many others believe massive vote irregularities. Mousavi has asked for a new presidential election.
