Michael A. Arcuri

Michael Angelo Arcuri, a Democrat, won the 2006 race for 24th Congressional District of New York (see New York U.S. House election, 2006). This was an open seat.

Prior to entering Congress, he was the Oneida County District Attorney - an office that he won in 1993 by defeating a long-term Republican incumbent. He graduated from the University of Albany, and then earned his law degree at New York Law School in 1984.
