John Courage

John Kenneth Courage is a Democratic veteran from Texas. He is a teacher and community college administrator who ran for Congress in the Twenty-first District, but lost to the incumbennt, see Texas U.S. House election, 2006. He is one of the Fighting Dems and he has been endorsed by the DFA and the first Grassroots All-Star Endorsement for the 2006 election cycle. He has also been endorsed by the Progressive Patriots Fund. He ran against incumbent Republican Lamar Smith, against whom he previously ran in 2002.
