Votes
- Bunning was one of only two Senators who voted against confirming Robert M. Gates as the Secretary of Defense (because Gates wasn't conservative enough).
- Bunning was the only member of the Senate to vote against doubling the bounty on Osama Bin Laden. (GOPer Bunning: If You're Serious About Catching Bin Laden, Stay In Iraq, TPM Election Central, July 13, 2007.)
