Jeff Lamberti is a Republican from Iowa, where was the Co-President of the Iowa State Senate, 2005-06. He is a lawyer by trade, and his family owns the Casey's chain of convenience stores. He is married with two children.

In 2006, Jeff Lamberti was the Republican candidate for the US House in Iowa's Third Congressional district, running against Democratic incumbent Leonard Boswell. He went down to defeat, 52% to 47%.

Lamberti was severely criticized over his support of the Whirlpool-Maytag merger which closed down the Newton, Iowa Maytag plant source. This probably hurt his bid to some extent, as the economic repercussions of the plant closure were laid at his door.
