Issue-position-argument

From dKosopedia

The issue-position-argument form is very useful for complex issues where multiple point of view (competing positions that contradict each other) must develop separately before any decision is made, or even the options fully understood. It was proven at other political wikis to be very useful for political party platform development.

The roots of the method go back to studies at Berkeley in the mid-1980s and an effort to apply them to corporate intranets at MCC in the late 80s and early 1990s.
