House of Lords

The House of Lords is the second chamber in the United Kingdom Parliament. The members of the House of Lords are appointed and unelected. They Review legislation and have limited power to delay legislation.

Law Court

The House of Lords is also the highest Court of Law in the land. It is equivalent to the Supreme Court in the United States. When the House of Lords is sitting in its judicial capacity only Law Lords who are appointed judges sit.
