The Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security has jurisdiction over: Federal Criminal Code, drug enforcement, sentencing, parole and pardons, internal and homeland security, Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, prisons, and criminal law enforcement.

Expect hearings on the judicial rights of alleged terrorists to wind up here.

The Subcommittee chairman is expected to be Robert C. "Bobby" Scott (D-VA), who opposes the Patriot Act.
