Talk:George Walker Bush

From dKosopedia

I liked the old photo better. This one's boring. --Jumbo 17:59, 31 May 2004 (PDT)

Dubya is technically not Bush, Jr. -- since Poppy is George Herbert Walker Bush and the Executive is George Walker Bush.

Where's the discussion of his military career? Has it gone AWOL? [[[User:Freedc|Freedc]] 15:45, 2 Jun 2004 (PDT)]

To Patriotic liberal, why can't I put My Pet Goat as his favorite kids book? I mean kept reading it after being told about a huge attack on our soil. Stop trying to take out our perspective, because not only is it the only right perspective, but anyone other than a liberal/moderate Dem is going to refute it anyway

Why I changed the date

I changed the date because he may have been elected in 1994, but was INAUGURATED in 1995

Editorial Sniping

--Jake 13:42, 17 May 2006 (PDT)

BartFraden: The line

This smirking privileged son of the ruling class will sacrifice anything
for power, inlcuding the lives and liberties of working Americans.

while most likely true, is no more than "editorial sniping", I quote Centerfielder:

... a number of your changes - Linda Tripp being fat, for one -- are little more than editorial sniping, and are counterproductive. Others -- the Klan's inclusion of Catholicism especially -- may be true but are so contrary to what's understood that they need sourcing. We're trying to be dispassionate here, and, while we always appreciate help, please try not to be inflammatory. The dKosopedia's value lies in the degree to which it can be trusted to be other than pure opinion, and comments about Howard Dean's metrosexuality don't help. -- Centerfielder 08:00, 8 April 2006 (PDT)
emphasis added

I reverted your line once but you seem to insist that it stay in. And as you seem to ban users who have editorial differences with you (e.g. User:Grazon), I'll refrain from editing this until a dispute resolution procedure is worked out.

Ummm...how terribly brave of you. Grazon got a timeout to permit reflection (somethign that is good for all of us) and not a permanent ban, and for being obnoxious in several ways and not for disagreeing with me. Your accusation is duly resented. There. Happy? BartFraden. May 17, 2006.

Bush

How can a nation follow someone who has his own agenda and ignores the people he was (elected)to represent? He has surrounded himself with liars and money hungry bums.Almost 3000 dead and how many Senators,Represntitives and congressman have children dying for oil?Is it any wonder we are in this situation?Cheney double-dipping at Halliburton Bush making money off the price of oil,it seems they are viewing the office as a way to line their pockets for the future and not concerned with what consequences may happen. And yet we still can't find Osama another member of the bush Axis of Destruction.Cannot believe he is even looking since the bush family has money ties to the bin-ladens

Commonsense bears watching

Troll! Nuff said. Chadlupkes 20:02, 27 June 2006 (PDT)

Major revert

Someone identified as Zeboid went through and made multiple edits. In view of his other behavior, I have reverted them all. If there was anything of genuine value he can bring his changes up point by point for discussion here. p0m 18:04, 16 July 2006 (PDT)

I've now reverted all articles that Zeeboid has touched. p0m 18:19, 16 July 2006 (PDT)

Editorializing

Ok, enough was enough. Dubya will no doubt be judged the worst president ever, but we're here to be a repository of sourced non-inflammatory information. Such snarkfests are counterproductive. --Centerfielder 15:07, 21 May 2007 (PDT)

Redlink For Patriot Act

The section on the bills Dubya supports contains a redlink to an article about the Patriot Act. As there is already an article about it on this site, an admin needs to fix that.

P.S. This page is still locked

Just a reminder. You can keep it locked though, because nobody has anything good to say about him anyhow. DrDebug 07:10, 23 February 2008 (PST)
