Executive Branch

From dKosopedia

The Executive Branch of the U.S. Government includes the President, the Vice President, the Cabinet, and thousands of other advisors, counselors, staff, etc. Most of those employees are in cabinet level departments. The remainder are either in the White House Office or in Independent Agencies.

The U.S. Constitution establishes two other branches of government: the Legislative Branch and the Judicial Branch. The text of the Constitution was interpreted to inlcude a doctrine of Separation of Powers but that phrase does not appear in the text.
