Eric Eidsness

Eric Eidsness is an environmental engineer and manager from Colorado. He served as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1973, and saw duty in Vietnam. In 1981, he was appointed as Assistant Administrator for Water in the Environmental Protection Agency by President Ronald Reagan. Since then, he has held senior management positions in environmental cleanup firms.

He ran for Congress on the Reform Party ticket in Colorado's 4th District, see Colorado U.S. House election, 2006. He got 11% of the vote, but lost to the incubment. In 2007, he switched to the Democratic party.

He has three grown children, one of whom served in the Marines.
