Clement Atlee

Clement Richard Attlee, a.k.a. 1st Earl Attlee, was the Labour Party British Prime Minister from 1945 to 1951. His government presided over the decolonisation of a large part of the British Empire, including India, Burma, Ceylon, and Pakistan.
