Civil Liberties are similar to Civil Rights and Human Rights, however it is a term generally used more narrowly to refer to rights granted under law, especially the Bill of Rights to the United States Constitution, most notably:

• Freedom of Speech
• Freedom of Assembly
• Freedom of Religion
• Due Process
• Various Rights involving Criminal Procedure
• Voting Rights
