Citizens for Equitable and Responsible Government

Citizens for Equitable and Responsible Government, a group based in Kona led by Brenda Ford and Chuck Flaherty. CERG believes that the 2001 Redistricting Commission incorrectly gave more weight to East Hawaii Council districts to the detriment of West Hawaii districts.

As of April 2006, the United States Supreme Court has agreed to examine CERG's claim: the case has been filed and assigned a docket number.
