2008 Senate election

• During a debate with incumbent Sen. Tom Harkin (D), Reed referred to Harking, saying "We're taking advice from somebody who has an eight-year history of becoming the Tokyo Rose of al-Qaida and Middle East terrorism" (Source: Reed says Harking gives aid to enemy, by Thomas Beaumont, Des Moines Register, October, 24, 2008.)

2010 House election
