Chris Cannon

Christopher B. Cannon is a Republican representative from the 3rd district of Utah. He was elected to Congress in 1996, and in 1998 he was one of the managers appointed to conduct the impeachment proceedings against President Bill Clinton.
Cannon is an attorney, and during the Reagan administration, he supervised coal mining reclamation at the Interior Department. Later, he was an owner of Geneva Steel.
He and his wife Claudia have eight children.
