Charlotte Martinsson was appointed as Assistant Deputy Director for Intelligence Capability Requirements, Office of the Deputy United States Director of National Intelligence for Customer Outcomes on Oct. 31, 2005.
Ms. Martinsson is responsible for managing the intelligence capability requirements process to support national intelligence needs. Ms. Martinsson has more than 30 years experience in the Intelligence Community, with the last four at the community level in the Office of the DNI and former Office of the Deputy DCI for Community Management. She has been the Executive Secretary of the National Intelligence Community Mission Requirements Board since January 2004, and will continue to serve in that capacity. She served in the Defense Intelligence Agency and supported the Army Staff in the Pentagon. Ms. Martinsson spent 23 years of active duty service in the U.S. Army in signal intelligence, collection management, electronic warfare, and acquisition program management office capacities. She received a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Berlin Campus.
