Chad Kluko ran for Congress in the 18th U.S. House District of Pennsylvania, but lost to the incumbent, see Pennsylvania U.S. House election, 2006.
The 44 year old former television and telecommunications executive from Monroeville defeated Thomas Kovach in the close party primary on May 17, 2006. Kluko drew electoral support from Allegheny County while Kovach drew votes in Washington and Westmoreland counties.
