Bob Shamansky is a Democratic veteran, former Congressman and lawyer from Ohio. He ran for Congress in the 12th District, but lost to the incumbent, see Ohio U.S. House election, 2006. He is one of the Fighting Dems.

Bob served in the Korean War, and received his J.D. from Harvard Law School. He represented this district in Congress from 1980-1981, and has held many leadership roles in his community. He has travelled extensively, and visited over 80 countries.
