Betty Castor

Betty Castor is a former Florida State Senator, Florida Commissioner of Education, and President of the University of South Florida. She was a candidate for the 2004 Florida Senate race, but lost to Mel Martinez (R) by 1%. She was endorsed by Janet Reno and Carol Browner.

Her daughter is Kathy Castor.
