Andrew Duck is a Democratic veteran, who ran for Congress in Maryland's 6th District, but lost to the incumbent. He is one of the Fighting Dems.
Duck began his Army career as a Private First Class but worked his way up intill he was Commissioned as a Military Intelligence Officer. He served in Bosnia and Iraq. Duck's assignments included being Commander of D Company in the 103rd Military Intelligence Battalion, leading the Joint STARS Platoon and working with the 103rd Military Intelligence Battalion in Bosnia. He was also an Intelligence Liaison Officer to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force in Iraq, and an Intelligence Staff Officer with the Combined Forces Land Component Command in Kuwait.
Duck has also worked as a stockbroker for Merrill Lynch, in Frederick, Maryland. He currently works for Northrop Grumman as an advisor to the Pentagon on Army Intelligence issues.
He has been married for over 20 years, and has three children.
