Ali Sadreddin al-Bayanouni
From dKosopedia
Ali Sadreddin al-Bayanouni is the 67 year old leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria. In March 2006 he joined Abdel Halim Khaddam in forming the National Salvation Front in an attempt to unite the anti-Baathist Syrian opposition. Rather than stand and fight the Syrian government of Hafez al-Assad, Bayanoumi fled into exile to Jordan in the early 1980s. When Jordan expelled him in 2000, he was granted asylum in London. Thus an politican who loathes the West and its values must find safety there.
