Albania

Albania is a country in Europe, located on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea, between Greece and Serbia and Montenegro. Tirana is the capital and largest city. The county's population of 3.1 million is 70% Muslim, 20% Orthodox and 10% Catholic.

Albania is poor, with a GDP of $4900 per person. Its government is unstable, and highly corrupt. In 1997, the country was thrown into disorder after financial fraud based on a massive pyramid scheme.
