About this page

YearlyKos 2007 is almost here and I'll bet there will be a zillion photos taken and posted to the web, just like there were last year.

This page will be an index to all of the YearlyKos 2007 photos. (Last year's photos are at YearlyKos 2006 Photos.)

When you post your photos to the web, please add a link from this page to your photos so we can all ooh and aah at your work.

If you're unable to add a link because dKosopedia account creation is temporarily suspended, please email me (snorfbat at yahoo.com) and I'll add the link myself as soon as I can (which might not be that soon if I get a lot of requests).

Some rules

This page is for pictures. There's a YearlyKos 2007 Videos page for videos.

Don't put your pictures on this page. This page is for links to pictures, not for the pictures themselves.

Please post your pictures to one of the approved image hosting services (one of: imageshack.us, photobucket.com, flickr.com, smugmug.com, allyoucanupload.com, picturetrail.com, mac.com, webshots.com, editgrid.com) so people can use them in DailyKos diaries.

Please remember when you're tagging your photos that YearlyKos 2006 and YearlyKos 2007 are just the beginning. So if you upload your photos somewhere and tag them, don't just tag them as "YearlyKos". Tag them as "YearlyKos2007" (the preferred tag for Flickr, which doesn't allow spaces in tags) or "YearlyKos 2007" (the preferred tag for dKos diaries). If we all follow this tagging convention, in the future we'll be able to easily find the pix for "YearlyKos2008" and "YearlyKos2525" and so on.

Flickr

If you post your pix at Flickr, please use these tags (and remember that Flickr tags should have no spaces):

  • YearlyKos2007 means pix that have to do with YearlyKos from 2007.
  • YKC07 means the same as YearlyKos2007, so you should use it, too. (Many people were instructed to use this tag; it had something to do with sending photos via cell phone or somesuch.)
  • YearlyKos means pix that have to do with YearlyKos from any year.
  • DailyKos means pix that have to do with dKos.

Also, please join the YearlyKos 2007 Flickr group and add your photos there. (To join the group, visit http://www.flickr.com/groups/yearlykos2007/ and ask to join. To add one of your photos to that group, view the photo on Flickr and click on the "Send to Group" button above the photo.)

Please use the YearlyKos 2007 tag (note the space before the 2, but no space before the K) and the Photos tag.
